Hey Martin, not to change the subject, but I was under the
understanding that WAV used a 32-bit unsigned integer for it's file
size header, thus allowing for 4Gb maximum file size. If an
application addresses this value as signed the limit is halved to 2GB,
but this was application dependent.
I'm just curious as I'm not a developer but regularly deal with large
audio files and am moving our production to RF64 to address this. A
lot has been written about the 2/4GB WAV issue, so I'm curious how you
interpret it.

There is a limit to WAV files. Technically they can be no larger

about Amadeus Pro).
The Wave standard restricts files to 2GB and this is what Amadeus
Pro enforces. At 24Bit/128kHz/stereo this would be about 50 minutes.
