Can only select one input from my audio interface

Post by somebodyrich »

Hello,
I am using an Artcessories USB phono plus as the audio interface for my mac laptop. I have used it before to make a stereo recording in Amadeus Pro. Now, for some reason when I open the input dialog box, I am only allowed to select channel 1 as an input, and even if I am recording to a new stereo track it comes out as a dual mono, putting the source material from only input 1 on both tracks......... :?
If I select input from the internal mic I can select input 1 or 2, but that is only a single channel device....!
I'd appreciate any advice.
Best wishes to one and all,
Somebodyrich

Strange. Does only one channel show up if you click on "Advanced
Settings" in the Amadeus Pro sound preferences? What about the
"Audio / Midi Setup" utility? Regards,
