When I'm refining the space between tracks to put markers there and I'm leaving the dialog (when i click OK), very often NOTHING's happening!
And I have to reopen the dialog…
That's FRUSTRATING to say the least! And it's a bug too…
I have to re-save the file but it doesn't always work.
Or i have to do some change before it's ok to work as it should when I click OK!!!
AND other than that it would be fine if the "minimal length' was effectively the minimal length to put a marker (i.e. you have to have AT LEAST that length ti get a marker AND NOT to have a marker with EVERY OCCURENCE of that length.
Other than THAT I LOVE AP!!!
(of course I have the latest version!)

Presumably, this means that no gap satisfies the criteria that you'vevery often NOTHING's happening

the threshold at which sound is considered silence?
Yes, this is what "minimal length" means. If there is a longerAND other than that it would be fine if the "minimal length' was

"silence" that doesn't generate a marker, it probably means that it is
at too high sound level, see above. Regards,

I was not clear enough: I'm working on LP's. IT HAS to have markers because there are tracks with the usual silence between them!Presumably, this means that no gap satisfies the criteria that you've
set. Have you tried changing the settings, like for example lowering
the threshold at which sound is considered silence?
And very often, when I click OK, AP stays silent.
Then I save again the file or I change something IN THE DIALOG (but not the criteria like threshold that have been OK for hundred of LP's!) and ask again and then AP is doing was it had to do: put markers between tracks!
Shortly written: AP doesn't do what it is supposed to do (put markers between tracks) THE FIRST TIME. And finally it does after a few trys!
So I lost half of my time trying to make it do what I want and KNOW it will finally do after i touch it long enough (!!)…
Then why do I have two or even three markers when the silence between the tracks is longer????Yes, this is what "minimal length" means. If there is a longer
"silence" that doesn't generate a marker, it probably means that it is
at too high sound level, see above.
There should be a setting for LP's where we ALWAYS en up with as many markers as there are tracks!
