Not really... Is there any particular reason why you would want to do
that? Regards,

a couple of reasons:
i like to see some songs through the amadeus tools
seems to me that audio from amadeus is better than through itunes. as
a less compress one, at least to my ears.

of course i can do that in other ways but a directly system would be
faster.

If you turn both the "Sound enhancer" (prefs) and the "Equalizer" off
in iTunes, then the sound should be the same.

Protected AAC files cannot be played back by Amadeus Pro, simply for
the stupid reason that Apple (or maybe the record companies) don't
allow the decoding of protected AAC files by third-party applications.
If you files are unprotected, then you could use the "Join Files"
function to turn your playlist into one long file.

This gave me an idea for an improvement. Download the version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip
and try the following. Right-click on your playlist in iTunes and
select "Export Song List..." in the contextual menu. Then you can
choose the "Join Files" function in the new version and drag the song
list that you just created onto the join files window. This should add
all the songs in one go. Regards,

Martin

it actually works! though i have to copy itunes tracks on the desktop and then manually drag in the join files. i also have to realize how divide the songs, in amadeus, few seconds.

would like take this opportunity to ask you 2 more features:
i) an amplitude vs time tool (useful to analyze an emission through the time, for instance a time and frequency radio emission)

ii) a real time analysis tool, f. i. in the sonogram, during the sound acquisition (useful during lot of audio research).

thanks a lot.

That one is included in upcoming version 1.4, of which you can

when i ask for "export..." itunes propose me a dialog box where i
have to choose a place to save my song. amadeus is not highlighted,
so i save in my desktop and later ask to amadeus to join that file on
the desktop. actually when i ask to "join..." amadeus take me in the
dialog box where i have to choose the file to pick up.

please let me know how to do that, because when i start a new record
i cannot see any feature to work the sonogram in real time when the
sound enter into the mac.

thanks

Choose "Export Song List" in iTunes, as you can see from this

This will create a simple text file. You can then drag and drop this
textfile onto the "Join Files" dialog. (Only in the beta version, not
in the official release.)

Actually, I've thought about it as it's easy to change the playback
speed of files within Amadeus Pro. This could be handy when listening
to podcasts -- I'm used to listening to audible books and other audio
content at high speed. Still, at least in my case, I could just open
the file directly.
