batch 'open' window - path bug?

Post by anechoic »

I needed to batch some 24/96 files today and decided to press AP into service for this task

I created a new batch processor
and chose the destination by using the pull-down menu and selecting 'other'

I then navigated in the file browser
to my 'projectFolder' folder and hit 'open' and started the process by dragging my files onto the window

this is where I expected the processed files would be saved to:
Drive/myfolder/projectFolder/batch_files_saved_here.wav

when I came back I found that the batch files were saved here instead:
Drive/myfolder/

not a huge bug but in most other apps when you select a directory to save into it assumes when you select the folder in the file navigator window and click 'open' THAT the folder you've selected is where you want the files to be placed -- NOT up one level as demonstrated above

q: can this be fixed in the next release?

it has the potential to create problems by overwriting files one didn't mean to overwrite

also I noticed that when the batch saved out it clobbered files without asking
can this be a toggle somewhere
like you can do in the bash shell:
set -o noclobber
set +o noclobber

???

Yes. The version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/
AmadeusPro.zip> fixes that. Thanks for reporting,

Martin
