Export in itunes doesn't work

Hello All,
since some weeks the "Exportieren in itunes Mediathek" doesn't work, nothing happens, now new window nor anything else.
Any Ideas for make it quick functionally?

Strange, was there an iTunes update that messed up the compatibility?

No, i cannot remember any itunes update, for me it looks as if the last amadeus pro update did it:(?)

As far as I can remember export to iTunes hasn't worked for a while on my Mojave mac but I've a simple workaround:

Create an .m4a version of the sound file using:

File Menu > Save A Copy As > Apple MPEG-4 Audio (.m4a)

Then drag and drop the resulting .m4a file straight into iTunes.

i can do this, of course, but the easier handling was before and i miss this.
