Hey everyone,
Great forum. Hope you can help me and my friend out.
We are DJs and recorded a 6-hour set on Friday night. The file was recorded and saved in Amadeus, in the native amadeus sound format. When we finished recording we could see the waveform. When my friend (its his laptop) tried to open the file the next day, all that he got was 6 hours of silence. The file is all there (3gb), but no waveform, no sound. He's tried saving it as other formats with no luck.
The only thing that I could think of as a cause was that the AC power was pulled while it was saving, however we got it plugged back in right away and the computer didn't seem to react negatively to that....
Any suggestions? We'd really like to have this recording.... Hope you can help!
Blank sound file after 6 hours of recording?!?!?

Have you tried using the "import raw data" function to open the file?
It is possible that the data got written out all right, but that due
to the interruption the file header is corrupt... Regards,
Martin
