Error message: This file format is not recognized by Quicktime. I got this error message when I tried to open a 977Mb mp3 file I recorded from system audio using Audio HighJack Pro. First time ever. Other mp3 files open successfully. Is it corrupt? Is it too large?

Does the file have a .mp3 extension? If yes, have you tried to set
Amadeus Pro to use mpg123 to open it (this should be default behaviour
actually)? Type
defaults write com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro HSReadMp3WithQuickTime 0
in your terminal. Regards,
