Sorry. I didn't mean to make this post sound obscure, but I happened upon a problem which I can hardly explain, much less fix!

I was working on editing a VO demo that had several tracks. I had shifted some so that when one was fading out, another was fading in. This was a couple of weeks ago and today I just got back to the project.

And that's when I discovered that there are now these large gaps between peaks of audio. In other words, you'll see a completely flat trace, followed by a little blip of sound, then another flat waveform. Weirder yet, the "flat spots" are almost all the same length; about 2.5 secss.

So, did I do something untoward by mistake (always possible!) or is this some kind of bug....?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ron
