tracks will not play on remote speakers via airport express

i merged several songs into one track last night to experiment and love the program
when i went to play it through itunes - it would only play on my computer - it would not go to my remote speakers via wireless connection and airport express
can someone help me?

John, sorry I cannot help you, but

I use Harman Kardon Sound Sticks as speakers and am somewhat happy
with them but willing to improve. I have an airport extreme base
station. What kind of remote speakers do you use and how do you play
iTunes via wireless connection through them? Thanks. CP

I don't think your problem has anything to do with the file. If
iTunes will play on the local computer, it should play on the remote
speakers.

But Airport Express can be finicky. Mine sometimes stop working. You
might try recycling power to the Express. I'll be very surprised if
other files play on the Express but Amadeus files won't.

I'm glad it occurred to me to preface by comments with "I think"
rather than "This is how it is". Never too old to learn something new.

Any idea why one of two AirTunes nodes would stop playing even though
I can select it with iTunes, the light is green, Airport Assistant
shows it as active, and the audio cable (when I unplug it) hums when
I touch it?

I don't think your problem has anything to do with the file. If
iTunes will play on the local computer, it should play on the
remote speakers.

A quick trip to Google will inform you otherwise.
