Mousing the playhead is really twitchy.
1.) If there is an audio selection, scrubbing the play head through and to the left of the selection responds mostly as expected. If you move the playhead through to the right as soon as it hits the end of the selection it snaps back to the beginning of the selection.
2.) If you swipe to create a selection; The previous version of Amadeus would snap the playhead to the beginning of the new selection. In the beta, the playhead may end-up somewhere near the beginning or possibly somewhere else. It never targets the beginning of the selection correctly.
3.) When in playback mode, scrubbing the play head works for a short time, then it creates two playhead bands. One at the original point of cursor contact and one at the current location.
The playhead that is under the cursor is now very jumpy. That band is flickering off & on (remember there are two.) And when you let go the target point is ignored and the playhead usually assumes the original position. But sometimes it ends up at a location close to the original point.
4.) Additionally, scrubbing has other inconsistencies in behavior, but not definable by verbiage.

As wonderful as Amadeus Pro is (and it is), scrubbing is, for all purposes, totally unusable.Alan wrote: Additionally, scrubbing has other inconsistencies in behavior, but not definable by verbiage.

Martin,
i came looking to see if you were considering this feature (it was "twitchy" in Amadeus 2) in Amadeus Pro, I'm glad to see that you have a Beta programme that includes "audio scrubbing" - it's rather important when trying to find a particular audio noise, click or artefact.
I wish you luck.
