Leopard compatibility

Post by volk »

Hey Martin! Just wondering if you have been able to test Amadeus Pro through the various Leopard betas, and if Amadeus Pro is Leopard ready?

Yes, I did test it on a beta seed of Leopard, and it works fine as of
version 1.1. Regards,

A more interesting question is, since your NDA should be expired by now, what new Core Audio features does Leopard bring.

Regard,

The main sound-related change that I am aware of is a complete
rewriting of the AAC encoding engine. In particular, this fixes a
long-standing bug that could cause large memory leaks when converting
many files to AAC. I do not think that anything major was changed in
CoreAudio per se. Regards,
