levels maxed out after saving file

Post by texorama »

Hi ... we've used Amadeus Pro for years with no problems. Last Friday we recorded a file, did some minor edits on the the fly, and listened to a bit of it. All levels were normal. We saved the file as an .mp3 and came back to it today. What we found was a file with the screen totally blue, with all levels completely maxed out and the sound so distorted that it was unlistenable. The original signal was there, but it was totally covered with distortion.

We're running the previous version of Amadeus Pro, not the new one. And it's an older Mac OS. But we've run the combination for months or years without having had this happen.

Any insights appreciated.

levels maxed out after saving file

Could you send me a Dropbox link to the file? I suspect that there might just be a mismatch between the actual format of the file and what Amadeus believes is its format… Regards,

Martin
