Reord Button won't work

Reord Button won't work

The Record button won't work. Nothing happens when I hit the Record button, that is recording doesn't commence. I see plenty of volume in the level meter, but recording doesn't commence. I tried restarting Amadeus Pro. I also tried restarting the computer. I am running an older IMac with High Sierra.

I have internal microphone selected as input device, both on Amadeus preferences and on computer system preferences. As I wrote the level meters on boththe Amadeus window and the computer settings window show plenty of audio signal coming through.

Hi Larry, could you try lowering the buffer size in the advanced sound input preferences? Also, please confirm that you are using the latest version (2.8). Regards,

I am running Amadeus 2.7.2

i lowered buffer size to 256

Still no response from Record button

I am running Amadeus 2.7.2
Please upgrade to 2.8.
i lowered buffer size to 256

Still no response from Record button
If it still doesn't work after upgrading to 2.8, could you please send me a screen recording showing what happens exactly? Regards,
