Exporting individual tracks in multi-track recording

Post by glennfleishman »

New Amadeus Pro user here, and I've read the manual quite thoroughly, and cannot find the answer to this question.

I'm using Amadeus Pro to sync up and edit multiple people for a podcast. The editing part is great. However, when done, I need to export each track as a separate file and import each into GarageBand for the editor who handles the final step for a podcast network.

The problem is that unless I am missing something, I cannot figure out how to export individual tracks.

I select all in a specific track and use Save Selection, but that saves a mixed-down version.

I can try emptying or deleting a track, Save Selection, and then Undo, and that seems to truncate the longest part of the track.

Is there an easier way? Thanks so much!

Exporting individual tracks in multi-track recording

Try this:

1. Bounce Track (if needed)
2. Select Track
3. Cut track to new file
4. Save file

Repeat for each track.

Best Jan

If you find one let me know. audacity has this from the file menu so it would be nice if this were added in a later version of amadeus. I'm not switching to audacity any time soon so please please consider adding this?

Thanks.
