Interestingly enough, I was interested in a similar thing, I wanted to
trim all silences that were absolute zero in both channels. I know
Martin did a similar thing on a one-off project for a mangled file. I
suppose I could write a C program to do it, but it is a bit of a nuisance.

Hi!

Is it possible to trim silence in the middle of a file? E.g. I want to cut out whenever there is a gab of 0.50 seconds. And I want to set a fresh hole at -40 db and keep 0.20 seconds of the original silence. Can Amadeus help me doing this task?

Best regards
Thomas
