I updated to 1.5.3 on a 1.25GHz PPC G4 running 10.4.11. Zoom will not work (either direction) bringing up the error:
*** -[NSScrollView conrtPointFromBase:] selector not recognized [self = 0x7ec7160]
Reverted to 1.5.2 - all OK. 1.5.3 on an Intel iMac works OK.

Zoom bug in 1.5.3 on G4
It turns out that I made a modification to the zoom function in which I
inadvertently make a function call that only exists on MacOS 10.5 and up.
(this "convertPointFromBase:" selector mentioned in the error) This causes
the zooming to fail on 10.4.x.
Affected users can download a corrected version from
<http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip>
I will roll that out as an "official" update soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
