Hi- a question. I have enjoyed the use of this excellent program and have installed it on three of my computers (each at a different location). Two work fine, but the third has been unable to save (dialog box with "this file is read only"). The license seems to be fine. Love to get it working, as I use it every day!
Thanks
Thanks

Well, is the file read-only? It should be writable if you want to overwrite it...

Maybe not enough space on the hard drive? Or somehow something messed
up with the permissions? Do other programs work fine on that same drive?
Also, do you get an error message printed to the console? That would be in
Applications/Utilities/Console.app. Regards,

Martin

Ah, yes, I see- remote hard drive, plenty of space, but will not save file as overwrite there. I can save to another drive ok. I'll have to figure out what's up with this drive.
Thanks

Oh yes, I now remember that there does seem to be a problem saving to *some*
networked drives, although I have never been able to reproduce it (works fine when
sharing between Macs). Since I cannot reproduce this and had very little feedback
(you are only the second person to ever mention it), I was never able to fix it...

Martin

Now that i know what's going on, I can work around it. I'll start by replacing the firewire cable and go from there. I'll let you know what I discover.
Thanks
