Hello,
During the process of restoring some old LP's, I apply one or more filters or effects, and sometimes change various parameters.
Is there a way for me to quickly compare the original, unmodified sound to the one I've modified?
When working on images in Photoshop, I find that the ability to check my work by comparing a current state to the original is extremely useful.
Does this feature exist and I'm just not finding it?
Thanks,
-Chris

Apologies, everyone.
I just answered my own question, and the answer comes directly from the Don't Overlook the Obvious Department.
The answer is:
a. Open a file, then save it with a new or revised name. Work on it.
b. For comparison purposes, open the original file.
With both files open at once, comparing is simple.
Duh!
