Amadeus Pro - Preferences - Time units

Post by bru.db »

I'm capturing vinyl LPs to my computer hard drive. I record each LP side and then split each song to a separate file. Sometimes, I burn the whole LP (all of the separate files) to an audio CD.

What I would like to do is to add markers (ie. split the songs) at red book CD sector boundaries. By doing that, a burned CD will not have any silence inserted between tracks, which is important for performances that run together like a live concert.

To reiterate, a red book CD track needs to start on a sector (2352 bytes each, 75 sectors per second) and I would like to split my LP songs on a red book CD sector.

So my question is... how do I set up the Time Units of Amadeus to show red book CD sectors?

No need to do that. If you select a gap of "0" when burning the CD, it
will automatically split on the CD sectors that are closest to your
markers. Regards,

PS: If you want to do it nevertheless, the format

|60:2|'|1:2|''|1/75:2|

would show time as minutes:seconds:sectors. Regards,

Martin
