Save selection as file extension

Post by aubreyapple »

I can edit and save a file with a .aiff extension but I cannot 'Save Selection As' a file with a .aiff extension... it insists on .aif. Can I override this somehow? Definitely not fatal but very annoying. I bought Pro years ago and am finally using it. This was not a problem with Amadeus II.

You are right, I will fix that in the next release. Regards,

Hi, please check that the version at http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip fixes that bug.
Thanks,

Martin

Thanks, Martin that allows me to' save-as' correctly. Now, if there were a preference to allow that to be the default. Why? Because, for example, when splitting according to markers I still get .aif vs. .aiff... not to mention the default when selecting aiff format.

Anyway, not a real big deal, of course; and thanks for the prompt reply AND FIX! Sorry I was a little slow... forgot to set auto-reply.
