Can you split different voices in an interview?
Is there any way to split different voices in an audio recording? Specifically, I have some taped interviews where there are three people talking. I'd like to be able to split out each voice into a separate track. The original recording was on cassette, which I've digitized.

Possibly if you had the capabilities of the CIA and a couple of
supercomputers -- otherwise no. (if they are all talking at different
times, yes, by hand -- create 3 copies and blank appropriate sections).

Sadly, I don't have the capabilities of the CIA or any supercomputers, and the people are often talking over each other (simultaneous interpretation). I need to extract the separate threads. I was hoping there was consumer software that might do this, but I guess that's still out of reach!
