Sound Length Units

Post by jkorchok »

I'm using Amadeus Pro 1.4.1. I have to edit sounds to precise lengths. Using Sound>Show Sound Info, I find that the length is 176399, but I don't know what units those are and can't find that information in the help files. Please let me know how it relates to fractions or percent of a second.

These are samples. If your sound is sampled at 44.1kHz for example, then there are exactly 44100 samples in one second. Regards,

Martin
