Adadeus only plays back one channel. (right channel)

Post by Corky »

For some strange reason all of the sudden Amadeus will only play back right channel. I am confident it is a problem with software as I have no other issues in my studio. I also use other audio software's such as Logic Pro, WavePad, Audacity, and various video software's. All of these playback both channels just fine. Files created in other programs that are left and right channel playback fine unless I bring them up in Amadeus, in which case I only get right channel. I am using the most up-to-date drivers for my audio interface which is a Tascam US 1800. I am running OS X 10.9.5 on a MacBook Pro. Any ideas?

How do you start playback? Also, does this happen systematically or is it just a one-off? Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin, thanks for the response.

As far as how I start playback, I do that with the space bar. However, I've checked it with the play button and also by selecting "play" from the drop down menu just to be sure and I get the same result.

As to it being a "one-off" I'm not sure what you're asking. It happens every time. I have also tried it without being connected to the audio interface, and using the system sound card and its the same result.

Thanks,

Corky

Have you tried removing the prefs file? (You can use "AppCleaner" for that for example.) Regards,
