"The Help File Could Not Be Opened"
I get that message when I try to open the Amadeus Pro Manual via the Help menu, along with "Try erasing the content of the folder 'Amadeus Pro' located in your 'Library/Applications Support' folder". I can find no such folder. And according to Spotlight Search of the Library, there is no such folder in there.
I've downloaded and re-downloaded the application from the App Store to my new iMac running 10.8.3 and both times the same.
If I download the Manual separately, how/where do I place it to have it open from the Help Menu and get rid of the "...could not be opened" pop-up? Thanks.

To go to the Library folder, hold down the Option key and select "Library" in the "Go" menu of the Finder.
In any case, you can also download the manual directly from
http://s3.amazonaws.com/AmadeusProManua ... manual.pdf

I've already done that, as I said in my original question.
There was and is nothing in the Library's Applications Support folder related to Amadeus.
I've just checked again and the only thing showing as Amadeus-related is a .plist in CrashReporter (Amadeus has the honor of being the first application to crash in my new iMac).
I've also downloaded the Manual separately. Now how do I get the Manual that's sitting on my desktop to show from the Amadeus Help menu like it is apparently intended to do, instead of having that "Could Not Be Opened..." message popping up on my screen every time?
Your app tells me there's supposed to be an Amadeus folder in Applications Support. Your reply simply repeated that. So if there is nothing identifiable as being Amadeus-related in Library/Applications Support, something must be amiss, correct?
I've now uninstalled the app again and also the two hairersoft preference files in Library/Preferences, and reinstalled the app from the app store. Nothing has changed. The color preferences and other preferences of the previous install are still apparent and the Help menu message is the same. How does one do a "fresh install" of this app?

If you are running the App Store version, then this would instead be in ~/Library/Containers/com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro/Data/Library/ApplicationSupport

Thanks, but I did say in my original question I installed from the App Store.
In the meantime, realizing I was being fed mis-information, I did a clean install of Mountain Lion overnight (took 8.5 hours) and reinstalled Amadeus from the App Store. This time the manual IS appearing in the Help Menu correctly. So the situation is resolved.
