Markers lost on cut to new file

Post by highab »

Here's a weird one for you. It's been around for a while, but you don't seem to have picked up on it yet. The earlier versions of Amadeus didn't have this problem.

Record something in version 2.1

add markers

use CMD + SHIFT + C to copy the last few markers to new file.
The markers move with the bit copied

use CMD + SHIFT + X to CUT to new file
The markers are not copied and all end up stacked on top of each other at the end of the original file.

I want to use the cut to new file to make a 2nd CD if the audio message recorded is too much for 1 CD (easily visible from the 5min tracks I have put in).

I therefore have to

1) COPY to new file (not cut)
2) delete the markers in the section selected that has been copied to the new file
3) delete the section copied

all that just to keep my tracks right for the 2nd CD without having a bunch of useless tracks at the end of the 1st CD which is more than a little frustrating.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
Can this be sorted?

Thanks!
