Hi Martin,

is there a problem in the new version of Amadeus 2.0.6 with the normalize option “Treat both channels independently”. No change with on or off when the file comes out of a compressed source like aac or mp3.

Are you really sure? I didn't touch this function and that part of the program wouldn't even know whether the sounds comes from a compressed source or not… Do you have a small sample file you could send me to reproduce this? Regards,

Martin

Just a follow-up: there was indeed a bug in the normalize function that would always cause it to apply the same amplification factor to both channels, whether the "Treat both channels independently" option was checked or not.

I have just updated the archive on the website, the currently available one (build 1465) fixes this problem. Regards,

Martin
