Advanced Settings Don't Stick
Hi! I'm having the darndest time getting the advanced settings for audio recording (preferences/sound/advanced settings) to stick from one launch of the application to the next, and even from one sound file to the next.
Specifically, I'm trying to get the Nominal Sample Rate and the IO Buffer Size to always be set to maximum. They seem to reset to lower levels from time to time.
I'm using a Tascam US-100 USB Audio Interface, and running Mac OS 10.7.2 and Amadeus 2.0.4 (1367)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, they do tend to be changed also by other applications and / or the operating system. Unfortunately, there's not much one seems to be able to do about that… Regards,Specifically, I'm trying to get the Nominal Sample Rate and the IO Buffer Size to always be set to maximum. Martin,
I'm currently demoing Amadeus Pro, and this is the one thing that's stopping me from buying it at the moment.
Could you not re-force the buffer settings everytime your app loads?
It's not good having to go in every time to change it from 512 to 32 samples buffer. Without doing that, there is too much latency on monitoring audio input!
Let me know if you can fix it, and I will consider a purchase

Thanks, Martin! I find I need to reset the buffer settings and sample rate every time I come back to the app, if it's been open for a while. Resetting to Amadeus settings every time the record button is pressed might be more useful, although having them reset on relaunch would still be an improvement.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
