corrupt capture file(s)
I've noticed that Amadeus Pro has a problem where it corrupts the audio being captured. It happens at various timeframes within my capture, but always seems to happen closer to the beginning then the end of my 30-45 min captures (I am transferring cassette tapes). Since there is no display during capture, it is impossible for me to troubleshoot. Is there any debug mode that could help with troubleshooting?

I will correct my post and say this: after listening to 12 separate hour long captures, the corruption is happening throughout the captures. I really would like to get to the bottom of this. Any chance there is a mod looking at this that could help? I really don't mind the money, but the hours spent to get corrupt captures really has me baffled and pondering what happened.

Which version of Amadeus Pro / Lite are you using? Some of the previous versions had a problem which could cause corruption when saving Mp3 files that had clipped samples. The current version (2.0.5) should not have this problem. Regards,

Could you send me a (short!) sample demonstrating the kind of corruption you are experiencing? Also, is that only in the encoded Mp3 file or does the corruption already occur in the original recording (i.e. before encoding)? Regards,

Well that makes me feel pretty stupid.
I used the original welcome message in my Amdeus history to make
changes to the "amadeus_soft" list, which is still on Yahoo. Closer
examination of that group shows no recent activity, but it looks like
20 postings were made in 2011.
It might be a good idea to close down the Yahoo Group to prevent
confusion for others who are equally challenged.
