hi,
when using effects, I always prefer AU, instead of VST. Being in a certain productive routine at the moment, I've assigned a number of keyboard shortcuts to these effects (via System Preferences/Keyboard in OsX) and it works very efficiently.
But today I noticed that for some of them the VST-version is preferred in Amadeus (in case the name of the effect is exactly the same in both versions (AU, VST)). It seems that AP just runs the menu list along, until it finds the first instance of the routine/effect assigned to the shortcut.
Is there a way to change this?
I'll try changing the name of the effect (in OsX) or disabling the ones I don't want to use.
Any ideas welcome!
greetings

Yes, I assume that this is what Mac OS does. I don't see any obvious way of changing this behaviour. But today I noticed that for some of them the VST-version is preferred in Amadeus (in case the name of the effect is exactly the same in both versions (AU, VST)). It seems that AP just runs the menu list along, until it finds the first instance of the routine/effect assigned to the shortcut.
That should do the trick... Regards,I'll try changing the name of the effect (in OsX) or disabling the ones I don't want to use.
