Maybe I am beyond the limits for even the amadeus file type.
My fileis a collection of four 24/96 WAV recordings that I made into one file with the "join files..." function that totals between 5-6Gb combined. These root files were recoded to a portable digital recorder.
I hoped I could save it as an "amadeus" type to have it all in one file for editing.
So it joined nicely but when I try to save it I get this error report....
"An Input / Output error has occured. There might be a problem with your filesystem or you may have attempted a forbidden operation. The error ID is -1309. "
I am saving to a USB2 external drive that I have no troubles saving any other file to. Is my file just too darn big?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

In principle, the Amadeus format supports arbitrary sizes. This is
however a "file bounds error", so it probably means that your external
drive is formatted with a file system that doesn't support files larger
than 4GB. Regards,
