Some bugs in the White Noise suppressor
Hi there!
I found out that in some cases the White Noise suppressor of Amadeus Pro (currently running 1.5.2) clips audio that did not clip before, and causes clicks on the beginning of the audio file. I hope you can look into and fix this because I really need this function for a batch of hundreds of sounds and it is pretty useless to me right now because of the clicks and clipping it causes.
You can download sound files to see both effects here:
http://audio.daniellippert.ch/HAUEP_D4_D4_E4_41_45.wav
Here you can see that it clips after processing it with White Noise suppression at -45.0 db.
http://audio.daniellippert.ch/HAUEP_F2_ ... 06_110.wav
Here you can see that in the original file the sound begins correctly in the center and after processing with -45.0 db it starts way off center.
I hope you can make this work in a future version because it stops me from working right now.
Thanks for your time reading through this!

Oh, it seems you got an old link. I edited the post shortly after posting because the sharp sign # was not possible in a file name on my server. If you use the link from my post it should work:

Thanks for looking into this!

Thanks for that! The version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip>
should fix this behaviour. Regards,

Thanks a lot for the quick fix and link to this version. It definitely fixes the clipping issue the old version had, but still keeps the problems with the first few samples of a sound. On both of these sounds, after processing with -45 dB of White Noise Suppression applied the waveform does not start at zero on the first sample, like it did with the unprocessed sound files. You need to zoom in at the beginning to see this, and it can be clearly heard as a "tick" or "click" at the beginning portion of the sound. It seems that the noise suppression algorithm generates a click out of nowhere, if you watch the difference between unprocessed and processed sound. You can see what I am talking about here: http://audio.daniellippert.ch/showdiff.png - the pink curve is the curve after the processing, the dark blue curve is the curve of the original WAV file.

single sample edits
It seems to me that I used to be able to edit individual samples by
viewing them as column of pixels. I have a single sample glitch in a
recording I'd like to correct. Is there a way to do this?

Uh... it seems like my post has been hijacked by others and used for other purposes. Now my last reply has been followed by some other comments and looks outdated. I hope that it is still regarded as unsolved, because one of the two problems still remains in the new version. Thanks in advance for looking further into this!

Feature request
I'd like to be able to choose "current recording" as the "source" for
a "real-time spectrum".
