Amadeus No-Likey Mp3?
Hey there. Using APro Version 1.5.1.
Here's the problem: I have an interview I recorded with an Olympus recorder. It transferred over into mp3 format and can be played easily by QuickTimePlayer and QuickTime Player7. ITunes grudgingly plays the file as well.
It IS big, over 500mb. The major issue I have, however, is that when I attempt to open the file in Amad, all I get is a .34 second blip. Literally, that's it. Just a "BLIP."
I don't understand if maybe I've converted the file wrong, or there's a step I'm missing, but how do I get APro to play this mp3 file in its entireity? Without blipping out a .34 second blurb.

Have you tried upgrading to version 1.5.2? I vaguely recall that I fixed something
related to a problem like that... Regards,
Martin

Which version of Amadeus Pro is that? Occasionally, some files are corrupted.I am opening an .mp3 file from an SD card recorded on a Zoom H2 that is about 1.5 hours long (live music set), but only 26 minutes gets open to edit. What can I do?
iTunes seems a bit more robust than mpg123 (the software Amadeus Pro uses)
against malformed Mp3 files, so this could also be a reason. Regards,
Martin

Amadeus Pro, what a great program!
Martin,
I am one of the users of Amadeus Pro who use a screen reader and I just wanted to thank you for this program. You have always worked with those of us who use the Voiceover screenreader on the MAC to make sure things work well and it works very well.
The other day in the studio we had a blip in one of the recordings that needed to be removed and one of our sighted folks just could not get it out, but, I brought up Amadeus Pro and removed it. It just works and works and works.
Thank you.

zoom H2 recording
It appears that there is something wrong with the file itself. A second file worked fine. I will continue to investigate.
