multi tracking

Post by tonyalmond »

is this a dumb question...?
..but i've purchased amadeus pro, thinking as well as audio editing, i could do some multitracking (i'm running 0sx10.5 but don't have garageband)

what i need to do is record a new track while listening to the the other track(s) and for it to still stay in sync with what i've just recorded against. that's a fairly basic multitracking requirement i guess

.. but i can't seem to figure it out
help please!

Hi Tony,

Have you tried the "Record to new track" function from the "Sound" menu? Regards,

For my liking it would be good to have that function on the toolbar (is there a way to do that?) , but shortcut is ok.
I'm enjoying it now!

Yes, click the "Record" button and leave it pressed for a couple of
seconds. This will allow you to change its behaviour. Regards,
