LP recording

I'm new to this, so forgive my ignorance. Having recorded an entire LP album, how do I break it up into songs? That is to say, I want to burn a CD and have the CD player recognize individual songs, not just one long track.

Try looking at searching for silence and markers in the manual.

Thank you Chuck. So does adding a marker automatically get translated to "separate songs" when burning a CD? I don't know what the jargon is for that ... I call them separate tracks on the LP, but Amadeus lingo calls tracks the right and left channel.

It depends on your settings. I split according to markers and then burn
using a separate program -- primarily because that is what I learned
originally. Did you print the manual and read it?

Yes, provided the "Consider all markers" checkbox is on in the CD burning dialog. You can also get finer control by using markers with different colors. Regards,

Martin
