I'm mostly using resample from 48k to 44.1k working with lossless files.
Q1.
Resampling the source into a new bit rate is a part of my workflow. Thus I'd like to see Resample as an option in the effect menu and not only hidden inside the Save as - settings -dialog.
Q2.
On some MS Windows based audio editors it's possible to select different quality parameters for resampling and it's also recommended to use different settings for different kind of audio sources and not only "slower equals better".
How about introducing more resample parameteres in Amadeus Pro?
Q3.
How about changing the bit depth with resample as well? ie 24 bit to 16, 16 to 24...

if you click on the sample rate and bit depth in the lower left hand part of the window
a smaller window with a pulldown menu will appear and you can select both sample rate and bit depth here
as for quality of the sample rate conversion and dithering on the bit depth:
Martin has stated that the algorithm for bit depth is from the Core Audio library but not sure about the sample rate conversion algo.
