Soundtrack Pro / Logic Audio Units

Post by ggould »

How do I access the Audio Units found in Soundtrack Pro and Logic? Apple says they are part of the system and are in the Audio Unit format. I like to use the Linear Phase EQ, Expander, Stereo Spread, etc. Soundtrack Pro has no idea about CD tracks and I really love Amadeus for repairing clicks and pops and general editing, but it is real hassle to export each track and process in Soundtrack Pro.

Thanks,

Glen

They should appear under Effects -> Audio Units... Regards,

Logic/SOundTrack Pro supports AudioUnits, but the ones Native to Logic/Soundtrack Pro Are Not AudioUnits..never were.
If you go into Library/audio/plugins/components, or users/library/audio/plugins/components..(components being Audiounits) you'll note there are no Logic Plugins there.

I have done more research on the Apple site and sdfalk is correct. It does appear that these effects are bundled into the program and are not available to anything other than Soundtrack Pro and Logic. :(

Thanks,

Glen
