help with sound analysis for a newbie
I'm curious about the sound analysis function of Pro, but the explanations of how they work, in this forum and the manual, are a bit too technical for me. Can anyone suggest a website or book that explains the basics? What I'd like to do is two things: listen to some music (rock guitar) and both isolate the one instrument and determine the pitch of a note, especially chords.

Good luck!
To do this, select the time you want and then do "spectrum". You can
then move the cursor across the window and it will give you the
frequency at the line. Put the cursor over a peak and you will get the
frequency and the "note" in A-440 situation.
Note, you will have to decide if a peak is a separate note or an
overtone of a lower frequency.
