1. Signon woes 2. Batch removal of clicks from LP recording

Post by wcbanta2 »

Problem 1: My original account, wcbanta has been "inactivated" for some reason and I cannot sign on to this forum with my email address. Nor can I contact ANYONE at Harriersoft.com to sign on. I have to sign on to my wife's account using "wcbanta2". PLEASE reactivate my earlier login name, wcbanta or set it up so I can do so again, or tell me what else I can do.

Problem 2: Is there a way to use Amadeus to use a batch declicker do reduce the clicks on old LP recordings? Every other such program I am aware of does so. The batch tool is pretty ineffective for this purpose and the interpolation function is the only other one I can seem to use for clicks.

Thanks

I reactivated it; I have no idea why it was deactivated...

Not quite, but with the "Repair Centre" open you can use the keys "n"
to find the next click and "r" to interpolate the current selection,
which is much faster than looking for all clicks manually . Regards,

Martin

For de-clicking, I recommend ClickRepair ($40):

It does a very nice job.

Martin can't do EVERYTHING.
