Feature request: Snap to marker/selection
It would be great if the ends of a selection could snap to markers.
Likewise, moving a marker about should allow it to snap to one or the other end of a selection.
This should be user selectable in the preferences.
The start and end of the selection often represents significant points in time - like the carefully adjusted point to split two tracks on a live recording. Having this snap function would be a smoother alternative to copying start/end times to/from the Selection-window.

Hi Macoustics
The commands below and some other useful shortcuts are listed in the forum at http://www.hairersoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=331
command-left arrow: Extends the selection to the previous marker
command-right arrow: Extends the selection to the next marker
I like the way we can witness how you are getting to know AmadeusPro.
regards

Yes, I'm aware that you can use Cmd+arrows.
What I meant is that when you move a marker around with the mouse, it should snap to the ends of the selection. Vice versa for the selection - the end you're moving should snap to any markers.
My next thread is probably gonna be called "Feature request: Wouldn't it be nice if you could remove parts of a sound file".
Seriously, though - with a few refinements Amadeus Pro would be absolutely super.

Was Feature request: Snap to marker/selection now comment pl
I can't say definitely, but it seems like a feature I would not want. I
often have my selection just crossing the markers so I can see whether
the markers are where I want them. Can't ever remember wanting it in the
years I have been editing.
The one feature I would truly love would be to have the option of the
display while editing linear in dB rather than in intensity. I do a lot
of editing with classical music with large dynamic scale ranges and it
would be nice to be able to really see all of what is going on without
expanding the display tremendously.

And what about the menu item "Mark selection". It is is not exactly what you ask for, but it puts a marker at the start and end of a selection.Yes, I'm aware that you can use Cmd+arrows.
