In version 2.8.14, Spectrum display shows extremely large negative dB values

Post by nitta »

I would like to report a reproducible regression in Amadeus Pro 2.8.14.

In version 2.8.14, the Spectrum display shows extremely large negative dB values (−21474834...dB),
even though the audio signal is normal. The spectrum appears to be in dB mode, but the reference level is clearly incorrect.

The same audio files display correctly in Amadeus Pro 2.8.13, with a normal range (approximately −120 dB to 0 dB).

I tested this on multiple machines and macOS versions, all with identical results:

Mac mini 2012 / macOS Mojave
Mac mini 2014 / macOS Monterey
Mac mini 2018 / macOS Sonoma

    On all systems:

Version 2.8.14 → Spectrum dB values incorrect
Version 2.8.13 → Spectrum display normal

The issue persists after Factory Reset, preference deletion, and clean reinstall of 2.8.14.
Downgrading to 2.8.13 immediately fixes the problem.

The issue seems related to Spectrum reference level handling, possibly triggered after Spectrum printing, but in 2.8.14 it occurs consistently.
