In Settings, I know Amadeus Pro allows for Lossless conversion, but underneath that the highest bitrate that Amadeus Pro allows for conversion of lossless FLAC files is 256 in m4a AAC. I'd like to request that the bitrate be raised to 320. Thank you.

conversion to bitrate 320 m4a AAC

Post by Martin Hairer »

Stereo files can be converted to 320kbps AAC. However, I am afraid that macOS does not support converting mono files to higher than 256kbps. Regards,

Martin

On version 2.5.3 it allows me to convert stereo files to 320, but on the new version, when I try to create a batch processor, it will only let me convert to 256.

Is it possible that you have the default format for new files set to "Mono" in the "Sound" preferences? If yes, then setting this to stereo should fix the problem. Regards,
