Amedeus New Version ?

Hello There
Is there a new version of Amadeus Pro coming ?
Some of my friends said version 2.6 is coming.
Is it true ?

Yes, that's correct. You can download a preview at

Here's a short list of the changes from version 2.5.x:

- Improved QuickTime and mp4 movie files support, including the preservation of metadata and video tracks (in particular, markers now show up as chapters in QuickTime movie files)
- Improved support for m4a files (some multipart files used to throw up a "codec not installed" error, they should open fine now)
- Support for iPhone movie (.m4v) files (writing, not just reading)
- Full 64-bit support (no more "Software associated with Amadeus Pro is not optimised for your Mac" error message)
- Audio streams now support URLs linking to "m3u", "m3u8" or "pls" playlists rather than only direct links to Mp3 / Ogg streams.

The plan is to release version 2.6 later this week. Regards,

This is to let you know that I've done preliminary tests of Amadeus Pro / Lite 2.6 on macOS 10.15 and it appears to run just fine. Best,
