I am a voiceover artist and have been experiencing spots of audio skipping and distortion when recording long form in Amadeus Pro.
I am using a Neumann TLM103 Microphone, going into an Audient iD14, going into a Mac Book Pro running OS X 10.9.5. I am currently running Amadeus Pro 2.1.7. I was recording at 16 bit, 44.100 hz.
It happens sporadically, but today it happened two recording sessions in a row.
Here is a link to listen to what it sounds like when the audio skips/distorts:

It usually only happens once in a file. This one happened once during a 41 minute recording.
Happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions to mitigate!

Hi, I am sorry to hear about this problem. Does it also happen with the latest version,
which is 2.4.5? Version 2.1.7 is pretty old and there are a number of bugs that have
been fixed since. Regards,
Martin

One more thing: do you have Time Machine running? When Time Machine kicks in, it can sometimes
block disk access for several seconds which may lead to interruptions of the kind you are describing.
