Reducing unwanted natural reverb
I have an m4a format recording of a sermon recorded at the back of our fairly large sanctuary with the on-board mic on a digital video recorder. The ambient reverb makes it very difficult to understand. I found a couple of plug-ins which appear to address this issue but they are expensive and I don't know if they will work with Amadeus Pro 2.2.2. Does anyone have any advice on how to limit the impact of the natural reverb?
I know of two plugins that would do the job:
1) AconDigital's "DeVerberate", for $99 at the moment, at https://acondigital.com/products/deverberate/ and
2) iZotope's "De-reverb" bundled with other stuff for $399 at https://www.izotope.com/en/products/rep ... everb.html
They are indeed a bit pricey
