Spinning Beachball with "Add track" adjustments

Post by Sir Cecil »

A problem has arisen since I updated to Pro 2.4 and 2.4.1

After I use the "Add Track" function (which I use a lot), every time I slide/adjust the lower track, I get a spinning beachball for a few seconds (usually about 4 seconds). It doesn't seem to matter how much (or little) I adjust the position of the lower/added track, I get a beachball as soon as I try to go to the next action. I can't recall a single instance of this prior to moving up to 2.4 and 2.4.1. I don't get the beachball with any other Amadeus Pro function.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Still having this problem. Nothing else in Amadeus or any other of my applications causes a beachball every time. Using iMac, 10.12.5.

Spinning Beachball with "Add track" adjustments

Hi, I don't seem to be able to reproduce this problem. Could you please try to follow the following steps?

1. Launch Amadeus Pro.
2. Launch the Activity Monitor and select Amadeus Pro in the list of running processes
3. Select "Run Spindump" in the "View" menu.
4. Switch to Amadeus Pro and try to reproduce the problem creating the beachball.

After a few seconds, the activity monitor should then create a report which
contains information on what causes the problem. Could you please send
this back to me? Thanks a lot,

Martin
