Insert Silence when doing Batch Processing replaces the whole audio file with silence
"Insert Silence" on one file (not using batch processing) works fine, but when I do Insert Silence while doing batch processing it replaces the whole file with the duration of silence selected. For example if I batch process any number of clips (I've tried 1, 5, and ~90) varying in length from 4-6 seconds and use "Insert Silence" to add 2 seconds of silence, all the clips become 2 seconds of silence. Am I doing something wrong?

You should use the "Set Selection" action first with a duration of 0, which also allows you to indicate whether the silence should be inserted at the start or at the end.

That was it! Makes sense now, thank you.
