Workflow for recording vinyl?

Post by elkins45 »

I'm considering Amadeus because the latest OS upgrade killed CD Spin Doctor and I still have some vinyl records I want to covert to CD audio. Spin Doctor was nice because you could create and name tracks, then either send them to Toast to burn to an audio CD or just convert them directly to MP3 and send them to iTunes. Does Amadeus have any sort of similar functionality? The new version of Toast has something called Toast Audio Assistant but it forces me to export one track at a time rather than being able to split an entire album and export/burn with one click. Can I do that in Amadeus, and if so how do it do it with the least amount of effort?

Thanks.

Yes, you can place markers and then burn the whole file to a CD. It will split tracks according to the markers and use the marker's text to add CD-TEXT info. You can also download a demo version from this website to give it a try...
