Creating song breaks in one continuous wave file

Post by supercell »

Hello,

Here's my sitch:

CONCEPT ALBUM:
14 songs connected by various filler parts (think Pink Floyd "The Wall". One giant .wav essentially.)

WHAT I CAN DO:
I can create song breaks using markers (I believe this is called indexing) within Amadeus Pro. It works great when burning a CD. I can skip from song to song without a hitch on a CD.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO DO:
Since the songs are meshed together using filler parts (Pink Floyd "The Wall"), I would like to be able to add the entire, single .wav onto my iPod. From here, I would like to be able to skip from song to song. This I cannot do despite the fact that all my songs have markers. Is this possible? If not I will do the obvious: break the .wav into 14 individual songs and call it a day.

SOLUTION FROM YOU:
Is there one?

Thanks! :)
