when I open or save a file, the dialog-box of AP remembers and goes to the last place. Very nice!
But I prefer to be in "list view" or "column view", which AP doesn't remember.
It would be handy to have this

playback in big zoom [wish?]
When in preferences "Display follows playback" is checked, if a selection is enough zoomed in (but fits in a window) it still moves out of view when played back. This doesn't happen in a smaller zoom. I'd like to keep the zoomed selection still in the window, which is handy trying to locat...

save selection (behavior?)
when I try to save a selection of one track (of a multitrack document) AP says that I better flatten it first... well, I could do that if I wanted! Is there a way to save *only* the selected track without changing anything in the total document? (what I do now is copy the selection, open a new docum...

[wish/question] on the fly solo/mute of track?
While recording text, I often have more takes of one word (e.g. different emphasis, accent etc). The same situation ensues with improvised music. Can anyone propose me an easy/fast way to compare the takes together with the rest of the recording? What I do now is not handy: Track-1 holds a bigger ch...

I'm on an early-2009 mini mac, 256MB video RAM -but from the main RAM of 4GB. Mayb...

(bug) phantom image of moved track... brrr
Last version 1.5.4, I notice a strange behaviour: moving a track up or down (to change their order) leaves a phantom image and sticks for a while. Sometimes it also leaves this half-opaque waveform on my desktop! (I've added a screendump of it here: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/peri22b/10125846 ) To ...

However, while the sound is playing, if I click in any place to the right of the green line and then hit the space bar, the play stops. Hitting the space bar a second time starts playing again, but this time from the beginning of the waveform. This is not what I want or expect it to do. Yes, this l...

your opinion about SF, WE
what do you use AudioFinder & WaveEditor for, compared to Amadeus?
Are things that these programms do (better) that Amadeus cannot?
thanks

not only markers (bug?)
I have also to add that not only the markers are placed according to the absolute beginning of the file/song, (on tracks starting later than 0:00) but the same behavior causes that: - copying a selection that starts later than absolute 0:00 copies also the missing empty space (from 0:00 to the begin...

"mark selection" (bug/error)
Hi Martin, I have a recording of e.g. 1 minute on track-1 I want to correct a mistake on 10", so I create track-2, put the insert point at ±10" and record. Then I mark the selection and... the markers' duration is OK, but the marking starts from general 00:00:00, ignoring the real placemen...
